Do you want to sing along with others in a relaxed and fun atmosphere? Pub Choir is for everyone who loves to sing, whether you're experienced or just curious! This popular concept has taken off in other countries and cities, and now it’s finally Ålesund's turn!
We are lucky to have the bubbly, enthusiastic, and incredibly talented vocal coach Solveig Håvik as our musical director. She has planned a fantastic song that she’s sure many will enjoy singing. Solveig will create harmonies, set up a simple plan, and guide us through a musical evening you won’t soon forget.
The song we’ll be singing will be revealed the day before the event.

It’s not just about muscles here, but about keeping your wits – or relying on your luck. We'll divide you into teams, and while you compete in macabre and hysterically funny challenges, we at De Sorte Enker will be watching closely. No slacking allowed, and if you mess up? Well, punishment awaits with open arms. And trust us, we love to punish.
You'll face everything from Body Bag Races to the fateful Nail-in-the-Coffin, or perhaps you’ll try Coffin Lifting – where it’s not the weight that’s heavy, but the consequences of failure! This is your chance to test your logic, luck, and teamwork. It’s not always the strongest who wins – with us, it’s about who can keep their cool while we watch with a smile that promises anything but comfort.
And no, don’t think we’ll pamper you just because you’re our client. Here, you’ll have to prove yourself or face our inevitable – and incredibly entertaining – punishments. Schadenfreude is, after all, the greatest joy, and we get plenty of it. Think you’ve got what it takes? Prove it, and maybe, just maybe, you’ll escape… maybe.

Are you ready to quiz with your life on the line? Welcome to the Widow Quiz, where De Sorte Enker invite you to a round of questions as macabre as our mysterious past stories. We stay in character all evening – spooky, unpredictable, and always with a sly smile on our faces. What happened to our husbands? Well, you’ll never know, but we have plenty of other dark questions to test you with!
Participants are divided into teams, and we challenge you with everything from our strange interests to questions we’re honestly curious about ourselves. You might face questions that make your hair stand on end – or laugh nervously. Winners will, of course, be rewarded, but what happens to the losers? Well... they can’t feel too safe! Maybe they'll have to face one last "challenge" before they can leave the night with their lives intact.
So, do you dare face us in the Widow Quiz? Can you avoid the losers’ fate, or are you brave enough to take the risk? This will be a night you won’t soon forget... if you survive, that is.
